About the Jewfish

The term "Jewfish" refers to multiple marine life species. These include Argyrosomus japonicus, known as mulloway jewfish in eastern Australia, and Epinephelus itajara, the Atlantic goliath grouper. Other species include the striped jewfish (Stereolepis doederleini) and the eel-tailed catfish (Tandanus tandanus). Glaucosoma hebraicum is also officially known as the West Australian dhufish.
